“Now you see me” is an intimate, genre-bending documentary about community, trust and transformation. A young actor battles against his infamous reputation and the remnants of his past, and is finding his way back into the Finnish art community with the help of a loyal friend.
We follow the life of a young Finnish actor, David, who is working on reintegrating into the art community that is against everything he stands for.
A cheerful, good-natured man from Norway named Adrian comes to study acting. The people in his class and David himself tell him what he has been convicted of. But Adrian chooses to be friends with David anyway and has become an integral part of David’s recovery.
Now David is finding his footing in theater with whispers of finally making a big career break and building the life he has always imagined.
We are a group of four film students from Kristiania College in Oslo diving into an ambitious hybrid-documentary project filmed in Finland. This film is our final project and an essential part of our degree progression.
